Klimas Wkręt-met at Fastener Fair Global 2023
More than 1,000 exhibitors from 46 countries presented their offers during the 9th edition of the International Fastener and Fastening Industry Exhibition FASTENER FAIR GLOBAL 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany. Poland was represented, among others, by Klimas Wkręt-met, a supplier of fastening techniques for the construction industry.
This year’s Fastener Global Fair is a new opening of the fair after a long break (the last one was held in 2019). It is an international trade fair for manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and suppliers of fasteners and fixing technology that enables professionals to learn about the latest developments and innovations in the industry. For exhibitors, it is an invaluable opportunity to meet customers face-to-face, generate new potential customers, strengthen partnerships, exploit business opportunities, and increase sales and long-term profit.
The main European exhibiting countries besides Germany are Italy, Turkey, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Poland, and France. Asian exhibitors are mainly from China, Taiwan, and India. The strong participation of international exhibitors at Fastener Fair Global 2023 underscores its importance as a global market event for the fastener and fastening sector and indicates exhibitors’ need for a platform to showcase their innovations and position their brands at the forefront of a rapidly changing industry. Above and beyond this, the organizers provided a top-quality trade exhibition and many networking opportunities.
In Stuttgart, we presented for the first time our new identification in terms of the display system, which we are implementing in the distribution network this year. We showcased our full portfolio of construction fasteners, which includes fastening systems for thermal wall insulation, chemical and mechanical anchors, concrete screws, frame fasteners, screws, and fasteners for wooden structures, fastening systems for lightweight housing, for the manufacture and installation of joinery, as well as fasteners for thermal and waterproofing of flat roofs or drywall. – This year’s Fastener Global Fair surprised everyone with the turnout. There was great interest in our offer, which translates into new contracts and interesting projects. In addition to the business benefits, we also see important social aspects, which were felt every day during the fair. After three years of concern over the pandemic, we see a great need to promote brands directly and build relationships. The organizers handled this challenge brilliantly – says Paweł Klimas, development director, and Klimas Wkręt-met board member.
The Klimas Wkręt-Met stand also provided an opportunity to present the unique #KLIMASart collection gallery, an initiative that aimed to create unique works showing that art and industry can form an unusual and fascinating fusion. These are extraordinary paintings created using the Screw Art technique with thousands of screws, each of which has become a tiny canvas. The paintings, inspired by the greatest branches of art, were made by young artists, Oliwka Strzopa (currently a painting student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow) and Magdalena Berdychowska, who, like Oliwka before her, attends the High School of Fine Arts in Nowy Wiśnicz. – Paintings from the Klimas art collection always arouse interest. Firstly, because of the extremely difficult technique of execution. Using our wood screws, screwed in at different depths, a relief effect is achieved which is very impressive. Secondly, these are intricately crafted works that required not only artistic ability but also layers of patience and diligence – comments Paweł Klimas.
Fastener Fair Global 2023 for Klimas Wkręt-met is another stop on the trade fair map. In March, the manufacturer also presented at the PSB Group trade fair, Bricomarché, the in-house trade fair of Polish Roofing Wholesalers, and the Asia Scenario on Infrastructural Development Nagpur International Conference in India. and the Mass Timber International Conference in Portland, USA. In April, it will be presented at the BAU trade fair in Munich.
